About Bansko

Situated in South-western Bulgaria at the foothills of one of the most beautiful Bulgarian mountains, Pirin, a Unesco World Heritage site, Bansko has become a year round destination for tourists also interested in hiking, nature, mountain biking and mineral water springs/bath houses found at the surrounding villages of Bania and Dobrinishte.

Bansko itself is steeped in history and can be traced back to the 15th century. The resort has a well preserved old town with meandering cobbled streets and homes are clustered behind stone walls.
